Interpolimeri boasts thirty years of experience in selling Exxon Metallocenes products and Schulman masterbatches, allowing us to achieve a position of leadership in the plastics market. Over recent years, starting from the sale of ABS LG Chem, we have successfully established a trust-based relationship with our Korean partner, which has allowed us to develop the technopolymer market (SAN, ASA, PC, PMMA, POM, PPO, TPE, PA) and become an important player within Europe. Our recent partnership with Ascend, the leading producer of PA66, has completed Interpolimeri’s product portfolio, ensuring that our Company is able to fulfil any market requirement.
We are particularly focused on selling Exxon’s C3 Vistamaxx™ copolymer plastomers and Exceed XP™ metallocenes, representing an eclectic, high-performance product covering several applications, which is giving our customers important technical and economic benefits.
Exceed XP is the latest development in Exxonmobil’s range of Performance Polymers. Combining its experience in catalysts and process technologies, Exxonmobil has successfully created a product with excellent properties, achieving high levels of performance.
Vistamaxx allows users to develop innovative solutions that improve product performance and production efficiency. It allows customers to reduce the thickness of packaging films, reduce the amount of material used, reduce the thickness of the sides to rigid packaging and strengthens products, preventing damage or waste. It can also reduce energy consumption by reducing process temperatures.
Enable™ metallocenes are particularly popular as they combine the performance of film with ease of processing. In fact, it is possible to obtain: greater plant output, more stable production processes and reduced thickness with the same performance, all with the same polymer. These are extremely compatible and valued when mixed with LDPE and LLDPE.
Exceed™ linear polyethylene metallocenes are used when the film has to reach high levels of performance, such as: resistance to impact, extremely reduced thickness, glossy and transparent film, strength, resistance and excellent weldability.
Queo plastomers are a range of low-density ethylene copolymers, obtained by combining metalocene catalyst technology with the polymerisation process called Borceed™. The comonomer used by Borealis is octene, as we can imagine from the name, the plastomers are the link between plastics and elastomers. They share many characteristics with rubber, which are combined with the typical advantages of the thermoplastic process.
All of our products offer standard characteristics, with excellent, consistent quality. We offer a complete range and the products’ versatility allows them to be used for all applications or markets, as long as specific technical performance is not required.
Ethylene and acrylic acid (EAA) copolymer resins offer excellent adhesion to polar substrates without the need for primers. Applications include liquid aseptic, dry-food and laminated tube container packaging, and cable shielding.
Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers are used in extrusion film processes for applications including packaging, surface protection and greenhouse covers, and in photovoltaic cell encapsulation. EVA copolymers are used in moulded caps and seals, footwear and car interiors. They are the base polymer in many adhesive resin formulations and in wire and electrical cables compounding. For the hot-melt adhesive needed to hold pages and covers together in bookbinding applications, low to medium MI and high VA grades are used to maximize cohesive strength and flexibility.
Technopolymers are polymers with high-standard physical and mechanical characteristics (rigidity, toughness, stability and high temperatures, also under static and dynamic loads, resistance to ageing, flexibility, workability), allowing them to be used as a structural material instead of traditional metal materials.
Thermoplastic polyurethanes are innovative technical materials with features that allow them to be used in multiple applications in the plastics industry. Epaflex produces TPU systems to ensure consistent quality and processability capable of meeting the needs of the most complex and cutting-edge applications. ISO 9001 certification is an additional guarantee of the exceptional standard of our processes.
BioComp® is an innovative family of bioplastics that uses components of natural origin and biodegradable polymers obtained from both raw materials of renewable origin and fossil fuels. The use of plasticisers of plant origin and organic and inorganic additions (such as plant fibres, cellulose, lignin, talc, etc.) allow the biodegradable and compostability qualities to remain unaltered. BioComp® bioplastics have an infinite number of uses, from agriculture to industry, from long-lasting packaging to disposable packaging, from toys to all different types of objects.
