Ascend Performance Materials are ideal for electrical and electronic (E&E), cable ties and fasteners applications. With over 150 grades with more than 100 UL approvals and VDE recognition, Vydyne® grades for E&E applications are designed to meet ever stricter regulatory requirements, including fire and safety standards. Vydyne grades provide superior mechanical and thermal performance while maintaining dimensional integrity, and exhibit excellent flow and moldability for complex designs.
Ascend’s Vydyne ECO grades are unreinforced, flame-retardant polyamide 6,6 with superior temperature performance. The ECO grades exhibit superior melt flow and low ejection force for complex molded parts, making them ideal for a variety of electrical components, from terminal blocks to cable glands to automotive connectors.
Ascend couple high-performance materials with automotive application expertise. They have a proven track record of working with suppliers and auto makers to bring better performance throughout the vehicle – from the exterior to under-the-hood applications.
